How to add Supadesk to Webflow
Webflow sites are built visually, but custom scripts go in project settings. This guide shows you how to add the Supadesk AI chat widget to Webflow by placing the embed script in Footer Code, which loads it on every published page, including marketing pages, landing pages, and CMS collection pages.
Before you start
- In Supadesk, open your agent and click Chat Widget.
- Click Copy Embed Code.
- (Recommended) Add your Webflow site URL to Allowed Origins — e.g.
https://yoursite.comor yourwebflow.iostaging domain if testing there.
Install on Webflow
- Open your Webflow project in the Designer.
- Click the Webflow icon (top left) → Project Settings.
- Go to the Custom Code tab.
- Paste your Supadesk embed script into Footer Code.
- Click Save Changes.
- Click Publish and publish to your custom domain or Webflow subdomain.
Webflow tip
Custom code only runs on the published site. Saving in the Designer is not enough — you must publish after adding the script.
Check it works
Open your published site URL in a private browser window. The chat bubble should appear in the bottom-right corner.
Troubleshooting
- Widget missing: Confirm you published the site after saving custom code. The Designer preview alone may not load third-party scripts reliably.
- Widget blocked: Add your exact published origin (including
https://) to Allowed Origins in Supadesk.
FAQ
Where do I paste the Supadesk script in Webflow?
Paste the Supadesk embed script in Project Settings under Custom Code, inside the Footer Code field. Footer Code is the right place for a site-wide Webflow chat widget.
Does Supadesk work in the Webflow Designer preview?
Third-party scripts may not run reliably in the Webflow Designer preview. Publish the site, then test the live custom domain or webflow.io staging domain in a private browser window.
Should I add my Webflow staging domain to Allowed Origins?
Add the staging domain only if you plan to test there. For production, add the exact custom domain visitors use, including https://, so Supadesk can load on the published site.
